Keep in mind that this oscillation picked by the coil always exist
Can you replace 100nF de-coupling capacitor with ceramic X7R or film type? Maybe paralel it with 10nF ceramic?

Thimios,
Do you have opt1 (the "folded cascode" option) connected?
I sure appreciate all the work that you and Terry are doing and of course OS's generosity and work. Eventually will post my build, when it is far enough along. Unfortunately I am rather slow in building things.

I pulled Cbp1 and Cbp2 and that did the trick. Square waves look clean. No more sizzling. Plays great.

Terry, that is fantastic! Will you be posting pictures? Listening experience?
Also, is opt1 still connected (i.e. the "folded cascode")?

Hi Bill,
I have it hooked up opt2 except for pulling the two caps. I can post more pics. I've only listened for about an hour. It sounds pretty much just like the other slewmaster IPS. Great!

Terry,
Thanks. Good to hear that it is, indeed, another OS winner! Look forward to the pics.

Way to go Terry. Looking forward to the listening test comparing this one to others you have built...
Here are some pics.
Cool setup you have there , Terry ! (clip them toenails 😀 ) .
Looks good , you have a big OPA660 IPS now.
If it looks good now , reduce the comp caps , it should do 250khz just as good
(it can go much faster).

Nice work Terry!! Now I just have to start etching my own PCBs like you do. If you have any tips you can PM me.
Ciao!

Being "a wire with gain" it should sound "clinical" .
PS - run it with a valve preamp - it should sound like the valve. 😀

It all looks good.

I once had a bjt phono pre amp, with that I could listen to the intercom at a nearby hospital.
