Hi, This is the plinth I made up for my SP15 & a separate pod for a 12'' arm. I used a sandwich, between Rimu (a local NZ wood) & ex kitchen bench sink offcuts).

I have an extra 1200 plinth sitting around with a magnesium 1200 arm + fluid damper. I like the clean looks of this TT without the extra clutter. This looks like a worthwhile project. The Jelco arm is nice. I've heard it compared to the fluid dampened magnesium 1200 arm and feel the stock Mg arm sounds a little more snappy with my MC cart. The main issue for me with all of the stock 1200 arms is the anti skate mechanism - its not very linear and the inner groove of records sounds better to my ears than the beginning, even after extensive cart alignment.

Get her back to stock then Concord her up. She'll serve you well for long. She doesn't mind going out there to earn herself a few quid either. Flight case her up and she'll put up with anything. 🌚View attachment 1006459
I do have experience with Audiomods (this is my friend Benny's table), but none with Origin Live new tonearms.
What do you think about Onyx arm?
The alternative would be my beloved Jelco used 750 (or 370H) toearm that has the plus of detachable headshell.
