Ohh I´m just designing some gimmicks for my amps and one is an auto off circuit turning off the amp, when there is no audio signal. The relay would switch the amp on and off and be followed by an inrush limiter.but what line level application should endure 20A?
Awesome thanks!Works great, ....tested
Aha yes that would be possible. However then you’ll need a relay for mains voltage and one for speaker protection. This gimmick might give more issues than simple mains switches.
Yes of course. I already have the soft start and speaker protect from the diyaudiostore. But now that I have learned to make my own pcbs I´d like to tinker a bit. The speaker relays will be mounted directly to the binding posts so that I get rid of the long speaker wires. So when I have to order the speaker relays I thought I might use them as well for the auto off/on as I like the design with the tungsten premake and gold bridging contact.
Thank you for the input everybody - I will order them
