Yes, measurements are not fully predictive but much more predictive in general than your opinion.
I have the board Cestrian made for me up and running. It’s really good. One question, what’s the max PCM sampling rate? I can feed up to 384 KHz into the USB to i2s board, but am not sure if the firmware for the pcm2dsd device is optimized for that. The highest I’ve seen mentioned in this thread is 192 KHz.

Good day! Thank you for this project, I am currently assembling it too. But there is a problem - there is no schematic diagram anywhere, so I do not know the ratings of the tantalum and ceramic capacitors. Where can I see the ratings?
The input voltage to the board is nominally 5v. No voltages above that will be present. Other than that the BOM should have all the necessary information.
