I hear cats aren't supposed to like being around other cats, but clearly that isn't the whole story!
How haven't I stumbled upon this thread earlier? Anyhow, here are some of ours.
Love them!
Sadie and I usually have some jazz playing in my office.
I'm a sucker for a calico!
When their instincts dominate, yes. So when they meet a strange cat on the street, or when they are not fully domesticated.I hear cats aren't supposed to like being around other cats, but clearly that isn't the whole story!
If they choose a human as the leader of their family this becomes their stabilising element.
There's another cat thread now (look up One, two, three, CAT!), so I hesitate to post here and open this dead thread, but since I started it, I thought I'd post one last update. Our Mama Katz from the first post died a year and a half ago at 20, and we now have a new furry friend around the house. She's a tortoise and likes to be alone. Feisty, crazy, yet loving (so long as it's on her terms) and certainly lovely. And she loves boxes. Audiophile, however, she is not. While Mama Katz would wind her way into anything of ours, especially audio related, Sage keeps her distance (except this one blurry photo approaching one of my DIY tube amps - yes, we're back in holiday mode). She's a beautiful cat though, and we hope she'll be around a long time like her predecessor.
@Carlp - just to revive your thread (sorry, I did not read all the 10 pages...) - below Mrs Tibou (a 18 year-old Lady) in the listening position, with her Space Ambient EM favourite music program...
