Shanti Dual LPS 5V/3A , 5V/1.5A

Hi,

I make 2 cables.
1 both ends to the earth and 1 cable 1 end not connected to the earth.
For now I hear no difference, I let the cables play and we will see how it changes or not change.

Regards,
Rudy

Nirvana transformers should arrive next month (from wurth) , we have every component , cables and alu cases in stock (except transformers) and FCC/CE aproval

Of the new IFI , we got reports from dealers that at 2A voltage is 4.96V , 2.5A its 4.86 and 3A its 4.76V

Nirvana is guaranteed 5.00V up to 2.85A and of course it will be significantly cheaper and less noise (0-20Khz tested and 1uV or less of noise at all frequency , including mains) . Of course earthing of DC ground is also included (with a swtich so you can have it floating or earthed). USB connector (female) is also included along with the main cable

The previous iFi has problems powering a Pi 3B in my setup, shown by frequent blinking red Led on the Pi board. Waiting patiently for Nirvana to fix that , and allow switch to to 3B+.

Either that iPower has a fault, or you have that Pi 3B loaded with current hungry USB device(s).

I can boot and use a Pi 3B/B+ using an iPower and various USB bus powered DACs no problem at all. In fact even the somewhat more power hungry Pi 4B boots using an iPower, no blinking LED, nor any lightning bolt icon warning displayed on-screen.
