Rev dac , we are starting the mass production on Monday . Still waiting for the alu cases but they should be sent sometimes next week.
I still don't have an exact date ...but rather soon

has anyone compared topping p50 and shanti? does one have better performance than the other, like on specs/paper? I know shanti can put out more amps..
Hi,
I'm very interested in the Revolution DAc that will soon come on the market. A good complement to the USBridge Sig/shanti couple. My only concern is its uUSB port which will force me to change my USB cable. I've been looking for a good USB audio cable with a uUSB connector but I can't find it.
Maybe Allo or the community would have something to advise?
Also, can someone confirm that the Rev Dac can be powered by the 5V/1A line of the Shanti?
Thank you.

we are releasing a cable (its actualy made in flex PCB) that can connect the USbridge to Rev Dac
This flex PCB has controlled impedance ..(better than any cable)
Rev needs less than 400ma..so 1A its plenty of power

Awesome!!
Is there any difference between using an SD card or eMMC on the USBridge Sig ?
I have one on order from Audiophonics, does it come supplied with an OS card, no option was listed, though on your website it is ?
Am I right in thinking that adding a ground link between the USBridge Sig and the Shanti PSU which is also on order lowers the noise floor ?
I shall be only using one USB port for a 1TB SSD input which of the USB's should I use ?
Thanks in advance.

eMMC is generally less prone to corruption .
Yes we recommend connecting all Earths to Shanti earth plug in a star connection
I do not recommend using noisy 1TB SSD on USbridge , best is to use another RPI + SSD on network and have a galvanic isolation between them

What will the connectors be on this cable or will it be necessary to open the case to make the connection?we are releasing a cable (its actualy made in flex PCB) that can connect the USbridge to Rev Dac

Yes cables ..
Attached is the flex PCB with impedance matching flex PCB that goes from Rev to USbridge (or RPI)
Yes USB cables do make a difference and its measurable.

USBridge Sig and Shanti arrived, SD card included.
Is it possible to configure the 1Amp output of Shanti to 3.3V using the blue trimpot ?

Thanks for that, dropped the voltage using an LDO TPS7A4700 works a treat.
Any news on Revolution DAC ?

Rev PCB is in production , all components (box, OLED etc) are on the way or getting ready to be sent from China.
Only issue is with remote (optional), we don't have a shipping date yet
