Scryer ... or how F8 met Mighty SissySIT

Thanks. Yes, I go back and forth between active LT4320 rectification and standard bridge. I like those SOT-227 fast bridges and a while back I made an active rectifier board that uses the same hole pattern. Easy to flip back and forth. Primary benefit for me is the couple extra volts I get with the active bridge.

Too early to say much about how it sounds, but it definitely has great clarity, good bottom and and that SIT spookiness.

I couldn't resist a quick distortion measurement. Pretty impressive! I believe its inline with ZM's measurements as well.

ZM almost sleeping

give it time to bloom even more

OK, there is no Iron in signal chain, but simplicity of it (Blame Pa, as always) paradoxically leaves substantial space for Magic... or Voodoo ..... or just regular type od ZM's

can't explain that exactly (burning -in phenomena)..... thingie is actually DC all the way through ( even if some usual Papacheat, regarding OS gates), but - as always, everything counts

OK, now really time for longer stint in my usual multiphase sleeping

damn, I've just made great amp ( or was it preamp) in last dreaming, now I can't remember squat what it was

Just like Cody my Scryer PCBs came up without any issues - no problems setting Bias and Offset.
After some listening it's definitely got that spooky SIT sound with the killer detail!
Zenmod has another winner here!

The singin’ Scryer! Came together without incident. Everything biased up easily and offset was no sweat. I can share more specifics later, but right now I want to listen to some music 🙂

Fugly!
