Cool. With a second 300VAC donut and some good PSUs, I think this might be the one for the artisanal Italian monoblock chasses sitting unopened in my garage. Not sure how to mount the PCBs to a UMS heatsink though, it looks like they have only the one mounting hole separate from where the MOSFET and SIT would mount.

I´m collecting the parts and would have 3 question regarding the parts:

• resistors - is 0,25w good enough?
• BC546 - there are many versions available, but not the straight 546... 546A, 546BTA or 546CTA or other exotic ones?
• BD139/140 - the straight versions are not listed, but the G-versions - are they okay?

don't care for wattage, practically all 0207 today's resistors are at least 400mW
just do not use smaller, if in doubt

BC, at least B suffix; if none, don't fret, that's all same Drek ...... meaning - not critical

BD - if you can -16 suffix; if not, don't fret , again

generally speaking, is there any on/off thump in your amps and is there a need for some protection circuit?

speaker protection is purely on your conscience

so, include one in any/every amp you have , capable of sending DC to your precioussssss speakers

thump On/Off - in general - I'm not letting amp out in the world until I'm satisfied with that, and general behavior of DC Offset
