Regarding the loss of sound you can hook a small speaker with 10 ohm / 1W in series between the hot and cold pins and see if still lost sound. If the problem goes away it is a bad relais.
Hello to everyone, after few testings there's 2 results for my Sansui Alpha AU-907i MOS Limited problem. 1st the problem is only on the headphones and not on the speakers. 2nd it happens on left channel too. So as I can understand it's not a problem with the amp section and only on the headphones path. The testing was on two options. 1. With power amp direct and 2. With line connected. When it happens I tested all the switches and selectors including speakers switches and nothing changed. Also when the problem occurred the sound on the speakers ok while on the headphones it disappeared. Appreciate your help resolving this . Many thanks.
Extra relay for the headphones should be cleaned. Headphones usually have rather high impedance, so there is much less current flowing here.
How did it turn out with the output trans ?

It has a relay to switch the headphones independently. However I would clean all of them to maintain best sound...Which relay related to the headphones?
Ok I'll do it. As I saw there's 3 relays. Sorry, about the output trans can you please remind me? Thank you.
Tran #6 on the good channel (L) have 28mV

The Mosfets on the bad channel, what was the outcome ?
The test was on trans 7 when I pull it out and not on 6. I will do it on 6 also.Sorry. There was bad connection before
Temperature difference between channels is usually down to slight differences in bias current settings. Also the physical layout can play a part.
If bias currents are set equal then the dissipation is also assumed equal between the two channels and any difference in temperature in that state is down to physical issues affecting how effectively the heat can radiate.
