So what's the reason for 300ohms?
Jocko:
So what's the reason the secondary is loaded to 300 ohms? 300//100//75 = 37.5 ohms, and don't we want 75 ohms?
That is why I suggested getting rid of the 100 ohm, and have 150 ohm primary and 150 ohm secondary so
150//150 = 75 ohms.
Jocko:
There is a reason that the secondary is loaded to 300R...................so there

Some of the good stuff I have to remain silent on. The guys who pay me to find out stuff like that won't be happy if I blab it all for free on a hobbyists' forum. You already have 98% of it, so don't get greedy.
But suit yourself..........feel free to do it anyway that pleases you. It will work that way.

update on the 1:1 transfo, I try it on my usb dac and it works (after a while for me to figure which legs to solder.
Hi guys,
Need a bit of help here.
I am trying to work out how the Zobel values (R=100, C=15pF)are computed based on Katapum's schematics, using the Zobel calculator below. He was using a PE 65612 (primary inductance 2.5mH, leakage inductance 0.5uH).
http://ccs.exl.info/calc_cr.html#zobel
I am not able to get back the same values. Can anyone help a small helping hand. Thanks
