Roender'S FC-100 - Group Buy

Where to find those module and PSU?

Hi AndriyOL,

The PSU modules was part of a GB Prasi (DIYaudio) and I (QuebecDIY) ran a few weeks ago. You can find it on the Group Buy section of this forum
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/group-buys/301682-crc-power-supply-class-amplifier.html

Unfortunately, on my side I'm out of PCBs.

For the Mirand softstart, you can find it here :
Softstart V1.1 | Mirand Audio - Solidstate designs

It is a very high quality Softstart.

Thanks

Hi Do,

I thought you ordered the SPO from Rudi. Did you change your mind???

Regards,

Myles

Hi Myles,

I did order the SPO from Rudi but since I already have a spare softstart from Mirand then I don't have to spend another 70$ on parts to build the SPO which I may end up assembling anyways... 😀

Last night I mounted all resistors and diodes, tonight I'll continue the assembly of the main amplifier PCBs.

Ciao!

Another small parts glitch on the SPO. The pdf build guide and PCB shown there offers two options for the transformer, just like the one on post#1 here. I ordered the specified Tamura 3FD-324 for 115V primary. The PCB I have does not have holes for the Tamura, only the EI30 type, so guess there was a change along the way and the guide wasn't updated. 115V primary/12V secondary EI30 type transformers don't seem to be available these days. Any suggestions?

ok thanks to all for the feedback!

On another note, there is a small PCB trace missing on the shunt PSU for C9, the 2.2uF film capacitor if you're using 5mm lead spacing instead of the 7.5mm. You will need to make a manual solder bridge between the space 5mm and 7.5mm as there's no connection. It's only 2.5mm distance so very easy to solder a bridge.

Just a heads-up

Thanks
