All of the outputs failed in this amp .
The gate resistors are 51 ohm for the outputs .
I forgot to order the gate resistors for the outputs when placing the order and the outputs all ready arrived .
Wondering if I can use 47 ohm resistors in place of the 51 ohm ?

It probably doesn't make a difference but it would be better to use the correct value. Is it an emergency to have the amp repaired immediately?
I got a schematic for this amp from Rockford .
Anyone know why every source resistors is way out of tolorance and about 90% if the smd resistors are burnt in both channels like the amp self destructed . And most of the smd transistors are also shorted

When the outputs fail, that can cause the source resistors and driver circuit to fail. When the source resistors fail, that can cause even more damage in the protection circuit.
Have you carefully checked Qx01-Qx07?
How to they burn? instant flame-up or do they burn after long-term testing?

Qx01-Qx07 means 14 transistors, not 4 transistors.
Are the voltages indicated for this part of the diagram what they should be?

If I leave out R310,311,313 would it hurt anything so I can check the voltages ?
I ask this is because it’s burning up the resistors instantly .
I ask this is because it’s burning up the resistors instantly .
No the amp burns R210,211,217,R310,311,R313 instantly as soon as I touch remote voltage to the amp
According to the diagram it appears I should have +15 volts on R330 I’m
Getting 49 volts and on D303 I should have -15 volts I’m getting 20 volts
So none of the voltages are correct

Ok found the LM317 is defective it has 50 volts on the output leg .
The LM337 is at 20 volts .
Should I replace both of them ?
