May I have your spice model for V grade k170?
Thank you,

From the simulation of single 2SK170V, I measured:
Id(J1) = 12.45mA
Id(J2) = 12.51mA

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Is it possible to parallel the jfets?
Sure. It's a model of 2sk170V with Idss of 18.464mA. In fact, I created it from model of BL grade.
.model 2sk170V NJF(Beta=100m Rs=4.151 Rd=4.151 Betatce=-.5 Lambda=1.923m Vto=-.5024 Vtotc=-2.5m Cgd=20p M=.3805 Pb=.4746 Fc=.5 Cgs=25.48p Isr=84.77p Nr=2 Is=8.477p N=1 Xti=3 Alpha=10u Vk=100 Kf=111.3E-18 Af=1 mfg=Toshiba)

After making some simulation in Ltspice I've noticed that open loop bandwidth is about 1.5 kHz. So, what about TIM distortion?

what is the connection between olg BW=1500 and TIM value?
Group buy for PCBs
Hi all,
If anyone is going to create a group buy for PCBs, please subscribe me, for 4 or 6 pieces. Or, if someone have some spares pcb to sell, I have interest in it.
Thanks to all, specially to Mihai for this really beautyfull creation.

Mihai,
I would like to try this project.
Where did you found the transistors? I can not find NJL0281d and 0302d. Can I use some other transistors?
I have MJL21193 and MJL21194.
Thanks

2sa1943/2sc5200 would be just fine but you have to change the bias diode string with a Vbe multiplier.
NJL0302/0281 can be changed with NJL1302/3281 or with NLJ4302/4281. All can be acquired from ONsemi as sample but the max number is 5 per sort, or from

the NJL have an integrated diode in the package. Look up the datasheet.tpsorin said:Mihai,

OK.
Than I will use 2sa1943/2sc5200 for first try. I will order the pcs tomorrow. I hope it will be finished until Christmas.
What about using smaller voltage instead of +-34V? Let say, +-24V?
I am sure that I don't need so much power. I have 91db/m speakers in ~22m^2 room.
Hi roender,
just dropped in an tried to fully read this very nice topic - but still too much 😉
Congratulations for that amp desing! I am really enthusiastic in building that amp. It's quite simple concerning component count and offering a compact possibility of realising an amp.
Actually I want to build a active three way loudspeaker with a DSP FIR filtering to linearize the individual speaker impulse responses and to implement a high order cross over. For this system I am looking for a propriate AMP that I can built multiple times.
But from the parts I have read I still have questions:
1. Do you have a final version schematic of your amp desing?
2. I had problems finding distributor for some active components like 2SC3423, 2SA1360 (I don't know if they are obsolete). Do you have same alternatives?
3. What do you think about reducing the output transistor count from 3 to 2? Then it will be only four body diodes in series available and the tempKo will not be sufficent?
4. Can you recomment an easy way of implementing a symmetrical input?
5. Do you have any idea of muting your amp without a relay in the output path?
Thanks a lot!
Keep up the good work!

I have interest for a pair of PCBs, so mail me at fly4@email.si if PCBs are available.
