🙂 pm - private message, but this is fine too 🙂

Hi ZDR, can you still get output transistors for this amp?
I still see them at digikey stock:
https://www.digikey.com/products/en?keywords=njl0281
Here are the boards, front end PS and amp, very compact and easy to mount on heat sink in vertical position due to detached backend PS pcb. Component values are printed on board for easy stuffing. References match spice schematics which is always referenced in the thread. Front end PS is lt3062 based, with adjustable voltage.

Marc, I myself have used the ISC - VAS transistors and am happy with them.
Finding a suitable, matched 2SK170BL transistor - quad is the bigger challenge.

Hello,
still no problem with isc components (2sc1360)?
I would like to by 2SC1360 from ISC and i need to know if this is a good idea....
thanks

No idea, but pcb can also take BF862 instead 2SK170BL.

Congratulation for your effort to go in your route! 🙂
Glad to see that you make so nice success!
Hope, you like the sound! What about speakers and room?

Working on it🙂
zdr, are you running the amp at 38v rails or did you hike it up to 55 - 58v rails. The triple outputs will easily handle the dissipation.

Running everything on original specs. Sounds like a dream, cannot imagine it could sound any better than this.
Its a nice design, I built this one which uses a single pair of IRFp9140, 240 mosfets . Revisiting some "old" ideas from 1970's - IPS, OPS
I am able to get 75w (rms) peaks before clipping off 40v rails.

Rails are at 35V here, delivered by back end psu. Front end psu is running at 39V.

Speakers are Zaph ZD5 and Hatt MkII. As far as the room is concerned, we are soon moving into new house🙂
Sound is out of this world. This is probably the last amp I will ever need.
For those who are wondering what is the preamp and display all about in this build, look here:

I just came across this thread and now have plans of building the amp. There is mention of gerber files in page 1 of the thread but could not find any - in fact in the whole thread. Any commercial PCB available?
Hi Terry, what was the outcome of your build?
Thank you all.
I am preparing to build this amp from boards a friend sent to me. I just want to be sure that I have the correct files. I am attaching them here. I someone would please confirm them I would greatly appreciate it. I have already built and tested the shunt boards.
Thanks, Terry
