Hi Jaack,
I think so, but as I haven't used them I can't give you a qualified answer. Linear Technology does make very good parts, that I do know.

ok...thanks Chris..your right 50$ is alot ..even if they are genuine fets
If you don't mind soldering SMD on a small adapter board, please use BF862

i just ordered a set of pcbs from Rudi, in my quest to find matched transistors..i came across this seller at ebay...'i know' ebay may not be the best place to source these things but check this place out. what do you think....https://www.ebay.com/itm/Toshiba-2SJ74-2SK170-LAB-MATCHED-PAIR-0-1mA-7-8ma-Idss-B-BL-Range-/253046095299

hello roender
would the liner systems fets at the diy store be a suitable replacement?
Hi Roender, still love your amp, is there any thought of a sequel
After almost 14 years I am still amazed how well this amp sounds. Hence, who need a sequel?

Same here - beats the crap out of anything below 10k, new or old, I’d dare to say
I'm so glad to reading your posts again, Roender! After almost 14 years I am still amazed how well this amp sounds. Hence, who need a sequel?
Welcome to the forum again!
After almost two years... Great!
I'm slow, slow builder. After year and half, my build finally is near.
But in this period, I never abandoned your idea and design.
and have no doubt that my choice is timeless and deserve to be build!
after reading the last couple of post,i am getting more and more confidence to build this amp.
roender...if this amp is as good as everyone says it is...we dont need a sequel.....but it would be interesting to see what you come up with anyhow.
keep up the good work lordoff.....you'll get it done

Hello everybody!
I have bought some pcb's of RMI-100 and I am on finishing line of soldering the components.
As I am not an electrical engineer, just a hobbyist, could somebody help me with the biasing please?
Re=(over one resistor)
0R1 - Class A =mv, and AB = mv
same for 0R22 - Class A and AB
Also I need max power but not loosing the sound quality.
Thank you all!
