Do we know the circuit diagram of the Maxonic SD-016 and/or the Victor (JVC) JM-S7?

I don't but Maxonic amp with tube and 3 pcs. of 2SK182 ES in one channel is an extravaganza.
BTW this company produced tube OTL ( output transformer less ) amplifiers and
field coil ( electro dynamic ) compression drivers , horns and speaker drivers

It seems to me they're merely cashing in on the Japanese obsession with old technology. I'd be very dubious about the quality.

IMHO the big half of the horn is made with wood the other half with metal, special black paint with tar on the outside.
Even if Maxonic OTL or SIT's amplifiers can be build differently in some construction aspects
that say nothing about sound quality..
they speakers drivers products looks very high professional made.

Dislike circuit wiring or cooling with the fan etc. OK I understand.
In Japan this Maxonic Sit's amplifiers sell quickly..
on the second audiophile market they cost much much higher than all components price!
