NiceIndeed they are rather massive, the magnet looks almost tiny on them, yet they are the biggest neo magnets I have seen 🙂
They are large enough to actually produce bass on their own, no enclosure required, this is how I use them at the moment, living in an apartment and all, but I understand that this is not the way they should be used.

Looking at 6 boxes for 6 x 24"
I can get 4 x 8 sheets of .75" Baltic birch and only 5 x 5 of 1"
Not sure if .75 will work for 24

If adequately braced, .75 BB will work fine. Not sure if .75 will work for 24
FWIW, you gain more stiffness quicker by adding more bracing, so material thickness per se only dictates how much bracing is required and since these are subs, the lighter, cheaper, well braced 3/4" void free plywood panels is the best overall choice and why it's so popular in prosound.

They are both $70 each but obviously more panels out of the 4x8
I figured 220 lbs empty with 1"

My cabs weigh close to 300# each with drivers and even with the appropriate sized casters and push/grab bar, they were a struggle for two of us moving them from my original shop to house to new house and all the stairs, etc., this entailed back when still fairly young and now I can't safely even tilt them back to engage the casters, so will either have to pay some locals to move them or saw them up/splice them back together, or not.
Four casters would help of course, but still requires at least two strong people and for HIFI/HT apps, spacing them off the floor compromises performance a bit.

I use 21mm ply for the 21" driver cutout board, not to save braces, but to ad a little stiffness when the hammer goes crazy.
I guess 1" is something like 18+18/3mm = 24mm right?
Unmetric mysteries🙂
On the other hand a 38,1 cm woofer is more confusing than a 15"

right, except here they list it in 1/32" increments, but tape measures only go down to 1/16" increments! when I was young, I could visually/mentally 'split this hair' between them, but now have a hard time even seeing them clearly. 🙁

I wish! I'm browsing laser distance measurers ATM and with this Bosch on sale today, which only has 1/32" increments in the foot [ft] mode for measuring materials 😉, it's real tempting to yard sale all my various length long tape measures since this one's range is just long enough to measure my property boundaries: Special Buy of the Day*at The Home Depot
