If those voltage levels are not dangerous for your application you are done (it will never drift higher than the cold start level). If they are highish, you can use a smaller value resistor on Rx/J/D.

9V battery & 3K3? I don't know if needs exactly 5.25V but is the only value write in the manual pdf.
BIII needs 5.25 V optimum recomended , absolute max is 5.5V but will work at 5V as well.

Not sure about HV BJTs and how they will prove reliable, also HV ref got to be different, but theoretically I could scale, had thought of it a little at a point. Why you want, you could positively hear better music with the Ref-D on the BIII combo so soon?
