Recommend a 30watts to 50watts budget amplifier

I've tried several and one of my favorites is this one. It has a high pass filter built in that you can turn on or off, depending on whether you are using a subwoofer. I've used it both ways and like it. The amp and the power supply brick will be slightly over $50. If you have a spare computer power supply brick, it would work well.

I always think of that board as the Aiyima TPA3116 board, because that's the name it's sold under in Amazon.

I believe it's a well regarded board.

It might be. I always wonder if those sold by individuals instead of a "reputable" outlet are genuine. Sadly, there are a lot of counterfeit chips being sold in these amps. The Aiyima might be completely legit, but I know the amp from Parts Express is legit.
