Excellent description😀
Could we then conclude that all thermal circuits are of minimum phase?
I do not think that the concept even applies. In real life thermal circuits, things can be nonlinear - radiation goes as the fourth power of the temperature - so this would prevent something like minimum phase, which is strictly a linear concept, from being applicable.
i just invented a technology that solves ALL of the problems discussed in this thread.
I already feel honored having met you here.
In the meantime you could go to John's website where you'll find his email address. This should solve your PM problem.

well i was there already but i was unable to find the e-mail because i am not smart enough.
if John doesn't PM i will redouble my efforts tomorrow.
i am not smart
Sudden self-doubt? Hope it's nothing serious! My opinion: John should seriously think about redesigning his site when such an expert like you can't find the contact function.
P.S. Look for the text "For further information contact Music and Design". Then click on "Music and Design".

If only he were as funny as his name implies.😉

yes.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I must be getting old, it looks too pimped for me. To me the classic looks are a Honda NSX - thats a sports car.
Although not as practical as the NSX, the Ariel Atom A500 is quite interesting from a performance perspective (500hp and only weighs 500 kilos). My idea of a proper sports car😀
Jeremy Clarkson's review of the vehicle is quite entertaining.

I drove an early model of the RX-7 for about a year. It was a fun car to drive. Those engines really spin. There's hope

That a Panamera? Hideous.
for people like you SUVs were invented because you thought minivans were ugly.
i don't suppose there is a chance people will ever learn to see substance behind the veneer.
hatchback, minivan and station wagon are the most practical shapes - therefore they are considered most ugly.
meanwhile coupe and roadster are the least practical - therefore they are considered best looking.
of course panamera will eat 90% of all coupes and roadsters on the road alive both in a straight and around corners. but what does that mean to an average person whose engineering prowess is limited to counting doors.
It's all a matter of taste. My favorite sports-car below.
Have seen several, but never got to drive one. =(
(That Ariel Atom is very nice, too)

Back in 1995, this is what I wanted for $100,000.
0-60mph: 3.7 seconds
0-1/4 mile: 12.1s @ 116 mph
Top Speed: 192 mph
At the time, and still to this day, that was really something.
The NSX would have been my second choice at the time. It was like a Ferrari on the cheap that was probably more reliable. I just always liked the goofy looks of those Porsches. Form must have followed function. Same goes for the four door Porsche--but for some reason I have zero desire for it.
Here's some other eye candy from a local car show that I find to be classics:
