Hi. My friend tried my Quad 405 ebay clone with his Focal 714s speakers. He liked it and told it has lot of details ,plays fast but he told it lacks soundstage and treble.
Maybe his Yamaha rxv350 adds stereo effect and it makes soundstage?
PS: It was oscillating in the past and my friend told he can fix it and changed tip42c transistors with mj15033 for me and then it could play at 50v.
