I got the power supply boards from Subbu. Would you be able to mail me the schematic?

Say that if I want to push it to 0.5A constantly, which chip do I need to put heatsink?

Hi David, Q1 would need a heatsink and you should change resistor R5 according the data sheet formula. Make it 1 Ohm for 600 mA max.

Please be aware that I haven't tested or configured the board for more than 250 mA. It will work almost certainly but it was not tested.
