I was surprised by a red squirrel the other day driving my daughter to school…no way to get a shot. Those pics are very nice! I wonder though if ours would have the same unique wisps on the ears? Probably not.

I think the ears get those wisps during the winter

The black version of the squirrel is also in the South Bay area of California. Ninja squirrel.

We used to have black squirrels, but the invasive grey squirrels have taken over.
