Wow, there are some terrific photos being posted here.
I've been hearing a juvenile barred owl all morning and as soon as I put boots on to try to locate it, it went quiet. I guess the parents finally brought it a meal. Judging by its loud, clear call, I'm guessing that it won't be around much longer.

My goodness LTK. Can you please take a picture of the gear you are using to take these shots.Mandarin duck
A heron looking to steal the fish from my front pond.
Don't worry I killed him before he got the chance.

The infamous pink and yellow Funky Monkey.
And, what naked apes do when you yell FIRE!

Back to the thread intent for a moment.
Big ones and little ones. The first is obvious, the second pic was a little guy who was perched on my clothesline and then hopped onto my hand so I could lead him inside, give him sunflower seeds and start calling around to see who lost their bird. (happy ending)

Theres no mirror inside like classic DSLR's , main advantage for me is it uses an electronic shutter instead of mechanical .
Barn Owl , usually very skittish and hunt by sound

Two shots with an iPhone type camera in low evening light.
Five bucks again to anyone who can guess what you are seeing and another five to where we might be.
People who know me are excluded as you darn well where I took those.
A further five bucks to anyone who can tell me between which two cities these were taken.
