New build of Quasi's NMOS100 amp
PSU is a separate unit (so I can use the same PSU for many amps).

Finished with this nipper, now I can tend to the things that had to be fixed long ago.🙂
nice, did you use this for vu meter driver? or did you make any mods for the dB meters?

No Prasi, I have used this simple circuit , one for each channel as I wanted to keep it completely dual mono and easy to make and mount it close to each channel input without long connecting wires . It works great.

Jan, The layout that I did has the same VU circuit as linked by you. Thanks for confirming that circuit works. I will try it sometime.
Yes Prasi, sorry I forgot you made the stereo layout. I will surely use it again in a smaller build. Thanks for the compliments guy's !🙂

I have started this as a fun project, but it's sounded so good that I've decided to complete it with nice power supply, speaker protection (also diy), inputs with/without tone control and active fan cooling (1000 rpms fans). It is very powerfull, bass is super strong and it is very stable - I like that with JLH desings, IQ and DC offsets are rock stable. Outputs are 2sc5200 from Farnell, 2x27V toroidal. I know it is a cable mess but no humming no buzzing 🙂

Do you have some more info on that pre-amp? I have a box of E88CC laying around, doing nothing yet

Hi borys,
Nothing says a small amp doesn't belong. Yours shows good layout and construction. In short, I like it!
So, what will you be driving with it? Headphones, small system in the bedroom or kitchen?

Thanks a lot.
I am going to use it with headphones, evening sessions and speaker measurements. Small handy box for all the purposes.
