Those heatsinks look cool but awful performance wise. They don't follow engineering principles of maximizing surface area vs volume (you need some to conduct heat to the tip of the fin). Fins should not be thick like this - serves more as thermal mass than fin radiator.
Right X, good eye candy for audiophiles though. 🙂
I don't know about you guys but I find myself staring at the amplifier often while I listen to the music coming out of the speakers. That means for me looks is part of the performance. All that said I'd Meyer designed that does both things at once is both beautiful and highly functional .
As I have promissed to myself, I have finished the enclosure (in 90%). I took the amplifier back home and .... I have forgotten to bring coax cable with me so can not listen to it 🙁

Yes, so do I. Looks are part of the experience... so as Metal and Glass.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Good job, looks very nicely done. 🙂

Ultimate handmade amplifier
Almost five years has been taken to complete building this amplifier including case. I'm so satisfied with its tonal balance as well as powerful and dynamic speaker drive that I don't need to be interested in other amplifiers any more.

Excellent build! I particularly like transparency in audio 😉

Good, job. Exceptional CNC work on the case. Very nicely done.🙂
