That's the weird thing, at least for this 72 YO. The daily mirror session shows me pretty much the same guy that's been there for a good long while, albeit a bit older, greyer and wrinklier with a taller forehead. Then I see a pic of myself taken from a different angle, revealing the ever-expanding fleshy spot in back that used to be hairy, oh and what hair is left looks whiter and thinner. Beyond those details though it's the posture and carriage that screams "old fart". I'll take that stud in the mirror anytime.
My father, in his later years, had a baseball cap (yeah, visor forward) with 'Old Fart' printed on it. I'll have to see if I can find one.
