My previous dog was a male basset named Flash, he hated going out when the grass was long after a rain. It was a reliable behavior totally correlated to long wet grass that needed a mow.

Actually and historically, Swedes had much the same sense of humor as the Brits. Benny Hill, Faulty Tower, Monty Pyton, Tommy Cooper were very popular and appreciated here in Sweden.
