If I have 260v @ 200ma going into my PSU board what value C1 should I use to keep my B+ @ 260v.

No such thing as a dumb question in my book. The best would be to simulate your preamp in PSUD.
What tubes are you using in your aikido and what cathode resistors have you chosen...what is the voltage across your cathode resistors?
First I plan to try 6SL7s in / 6AS7s out.
What is a reasonable cathode resistor to use to give me lots of gain?

I thought I was a gain freak. The 6SL7's will be way too much gain. The 6SN7/6SN7 Aikidio I built has more than enough gain for anybody.

aikido board is 9.50 us dollars a piece
shipping for 4 boards is 3 usd
Total 40 USD
It's just as easy as paying sterling if you have paypal account to pay us dollars.

I've not had much luck just lately and just to make matters worse my PC gave up just after my last post to you.My hard drive had packed in and refused to restart.So I've bought another tower today and we're up and running again and hopefully you will have received a payment from me via paypal.
