Just pushed. XSD speaks to side, pulled up the old Econowaves. These are JBL 4430 clone, 5 cu ft, and hooked to PoP.
This amp plays the devil with these speakers, foot tapping double speed!
Putting easier more efficient load really showed similarities to XA 252.
Music is the bomb, even TV movie through these getting foot tapping....rereading Andy's Tannoy thread.....good heavens yet another rabbit hole!

You will not be disappointed. Enjoying it very much, seems to have a touch more gain than typical FirstWatt clone, of mine anyway.
I need time to remove temporary power supply with single 300VA transformer and replace with dual 250 VA Avel Lindburg transformers for dual mono power supply.
Like XA 252, Signature is similar for obvious reasons. I think I am big fan of square law output stages. So it's a keeper!!

It will take some time, because I'm building the Pearl 3 and two class D monoblocks at the same time - plus now the PoP 😀

Have prepared chassis for F8, on way from ZM, which also has some HA! Power supply boards, for that amp as well as this one!
Can't wait for improvement possibilities. Only PS boards on hand now hold 8 caps each, compared to single HA boards 4.
Caps on hand are either 33k uF or 47k uF. I think 4 per side are plenty for PoP and F8, that formula worked the bomb on XA252. Maybe XA 252 could use 8 per side, but no complaints with 4 33k 50 volt pieces per side.
