What are you referring to when you say "an active system"? Are there passive amplifiers? 😛

electric active speaker crossover 😉 its placed before the poweramps, which means one amp per driver in a speaker....quite a lot of power consuming with all classA

Just your ordinairy 24dB LR with opa2134 and some silvermica caps

ClassA is interesting for mids and highs when using active filters, but will bring nothing under 300 hz. Any class AB amp can be used here.

question is - is amp voltage and current wise capable to feed the speaker properly ;

is it A or B or C or D class - that's simply economy issue
