BA-1 Monoblocks build

This evening I started up my BA-1 monoblocks first time.


No smoke! 😀


Did some offset adjustment on the BA-1 input boards and the biasboards. They
were heating up for an hour.

I found original (new old stock) TOSHIBA 2SJ109 and decided to build a BA-1 frontend.
Starting point of an amplifier build.....

As with most of my amplifier builds - I started with an aluminum frame consruction and the PSU.

Prepairing the heatsinks - a lot of drilling and cutting lots of M3 threads.

Added some plexiglas/acrylicglass in translucent dark grey.
Perhaps I will change some covers to aluminum?
Acrylglass doesn't shield...
I like the look. But this is a question of taste...
