I have 3 types of horns an Australian design bass by Etone use 2452 Jble compression driver and a large horn an altec horn can’t Rembert the design loaded with 15 inch Chinese drivers and compression drivers, sound better to me than Altec 515’s and huge horns{ run by a 3 way ACTIVE CROSSOVER] Everthing run by tube amps} I bought from a Pa company . seems Pa is all going with class D amps 2000 watt and small boxes. Just bought some JLB2451 and found they have strange bolt on with 114 mm.
So trying to fit to the Chinese horns I have; JBL horns cost more than the drivers.

I've fancied something similar for when working on amplifiers. I like the larger units that the tube amplifier people use but I don't own one yet.
I threw together a somewhat similar stand awhile back. Mine doesn't rotate, but it works very well. Especially handy with chassis full of iron.
Was a quick and easy build, with mostly leftover pieces from various projects.

Since we're sharing amp jigs, too, here's what I came up with for holding chassis while I wire:
T-track for vertical width adjustment and aluminum angle stretchers (with self-adhesive cork padding) to hold the amp. I had convenient 2x6s to mount it to, but you could build it on a frame for a desktop, too.
Holding about 20lbs here no problems:
The t-track makes mounting things like the terminal blocks in the above real easy and keeps the wiring off my workbench.

Keeping wiring off the bench is a huge plus.

Normally I am using my Bernstein "Spannfix" to do the job but I also want this one!
Well, after receiving this tool, which I thought would be a very useful addition to my "Spannfix", and using it, it turns out to be a disappointment.
It is impossible to get the PCB, when mounted on/in that tool, "freezed" into position. No matter how much force I use to turn the knobs to freeze it, I still can push that PCB into another position.
What a disappointment.
But I will not hijack this thread so I will leave it with this only comment.
I have one of those $12 pcb holders and it’s worked well so far. Anything from my St-35 board to the little guitar effects boards that fit in a 1590a enclosure. Mine holds them tight and in place.

I agree that with force, the pcb can be turned against the locking screw. But on mine it is firmly enough clamped that I think it's ok when soldering. Still... I'd much rather have a cool jig like those great DIY examples!!! It beat having a see-sawing upturned PCB on the bench top
3B7 SE DHT class-A2 hybrid amplifier

I have just completed my build of Pete Millet's 3B7 SE DHT class-A2 hybrid amplifier (3B7 SE A2 Hybrid Amp).
It sounds amazing, I will use it in my office where the 2.5 watts is more than enough.
The output valves are 4 VT-182 double triodes that was used in battery-powered field radio sets during the WWII and the Korean war.
The VT-182 valves are driven by OPA452 opamps. The power supply has 4 rails: 2.8V for the filaments, +/- 40V for the opamps and 160V B+. The B+ supply is filtered with MEC-100 chokes from Tentlabs.
This is my first amp project so I did learn a lot building this. One thing I learned from reading the specifications is that the LT1084 voltage regulator has vOut connected to the tab and the OPA452 has the tab connected to V– supply. As the heatsinks are connected to ground the tabs should be isolated.
