I'm fan of all your amps !!

Finally fixed a 24VDC supply for my, just assembled, headphone amp, adjusted the bias andhooked up a pair of (no so good) headphones.
It playes pretty well.
Tube is Korg Nutube 6P1, of which I ended up with too many, so I got this PCB from Peter Millett and ordered the components according to Milletts BOM, from Mouser. (I could write a long story about this order, that was placed last Summer and where the last pieces ended up just a few weeks ago).

Just finished my Audio Note 12AX7 MM/MC phono preamplifier and separate power supply. I bought both kits years ago, I decided it was time to build it when I found 12AX7a low noise tubes at a Ham Fest a month ago. I'm surprised at how quiet it is when there is no input signal or between songs.

13EM7 spud

From my humble budget and hands to the basement of good sounds...

13EM7 spud mono blocks using ideas from many and all the best parts I had laying around :)

In the background are Frugel Horn XLs...the Preamp is an Aikido, the DCP is vintage Magnavox

That transistor with its large heatsink, what type is it and what is its collector dissipation?

Is it a regulated power supply?
