ecc88 preamp
Not electronicly conected yet inside. Tested on a test chasis (works great). Chasis - 60$ bill for complete material, 40$ for works I could not done by my self 15 $ for enrgaveing leters, and 40 hours of my work in a workshop in a basement. It came out qouite well for me.

nice amp, it looks like it only has one output tube? whats the power? Unless thats your rectifier, and the two in the middle are your outputs 😕

It's magical to watch a 0A3 glowing!
Here's my new amp, based on Mikael's KT88.
Only difference to original schematic is a Philips E88CC instead of a 6N1P.
Plays beatifully!!!😀
As can be seen, from left to rigth, KT88, E88CC, KT88, 0A3 as turn-on indicator (buzzing along happily) and between the choque in front and power trafo, a 5U4G.

It is a DC couplet amp without C in the signalpath. The tubes are 8x EL 519 (rusian) and special is the distorsion compensation. In fact, distorsionis introduced to reduce with good results (< 0,35% max. power). It has 2 powersuplys. Al is power is stabilised.
2x 35 watt in Class A en 2x 70 watt max.
Most important... it sounds perfect.

Amplificador muito legal. Eu tenho um par de amplificadores que também utilizam EL519, um par por canal (fabricados pela Klare, aqui na Holanda). Conheco uma pessoa, aqui perto de Eindhoven, que tem anos de experiência no ramo e pra ele um amp PP com uma EL519 em triodo é o melhor que há.

These valves are from the same shop, Klare ... they bought a lot off them in the DDR i think. It are very strong tubes and can handle a lot of power. It is also used as a triode amp... thats a surprise 🙂
The big difference is that the design of the amp is totaly different then all the 50 - 70 years designs. For that it has not a "typical"tube sound like most tube amps.
My brother doosn't have this type off tubes unhappely... by the way, your Portugese is very well... where did you learn that?
