PeeCeeBee

So we must wait for a final version?🙂

No, the SMD resistors are rated for 0.125W. That should be enough, sorry. Otherwise the layout is not perfect, but it works. The input capacitor is a ceramic-type with 4u7, which is probably not good for the sound (?). Here you can take an electrolytic capacitor, if you want to have SMD.
I think the circuit is good for further experiments. Since I already have a complete PeeCeeBee, I probably will not continue to work. Was really just for fun and it is really not my pleasure to solder such small components 🙂.

Mind if I call it the Mutant X-PeeCeeBee?

That thing looks jjjust........................... 😎😱

Please review and upload full PDFs.

Kudos for making it sing and Big thanks for sharing!

Hi olafk.

Please upload the PDFs in a new post with board dimensions in mm and/or inches, quoted in the post. This will help potential builders make a pair or more with error free component matching/placing. I can see there's future for this design.

Thanks again.

Hi, here are the files as desired 🙂

PeeCeeBee_Shaan_SMD_Details.pdf: component view for the drilling of the heat sink
PeeCeeBee_Shaan_SMD_Details_big.pdf: the same only larger for placing
PeeCeeBee_Shaan_SMD_copper.pdf: TopView for etching
PeeCeeBee_Shaan_SMD_copper_mirror.pdf: TopView mirrored for etching
a few photos

Ok, have fun.

hello, i use peeceebee with evil cap multiplier. by mistake the multiplier has momentarily supplied only -1.6v on both sides. the positive voltage meanwhile was 32v. the output read 1.0v dc offset. i revert everything and zobel resistors burn. the dc offset is no more and the sound is fine but zobel resistor keeps burning. which component could have gone bad? i have already replaced all the transistors on cap multiplier. i should replace bd140/139 on peeceebee? thanks for the help.

zobel no burn if no input connected.

Hi Donovas ...
use 22pF - 47pF comp caps on it ...
sometimes it must be used ...
I also use 22pF on my BD139 - 140
it is for safety, without it I thought it was okay ...
but I have burn sonme BD's when try it 😀

Now with 22pF they are singing everyday here 🙂
