asuslover, thanks for the quick reply. My thoughts are to buiild this as a stereo versus mono block. Is there a torodial power transformer that can work for two boards or do I need to consider mono blocks?

the first 2 listed are 600va, should be good for 2 channels , the third one is 300va, good for one channel only, but it's up to you the way you will build it.
Hi Fencki.
Not yet. I am expecting them by 13-15 February as previously mentioned. I will update here as soon as I get the packet.
Thanks for your patience.

Hi Shaan, any pics of finished amp...wanted to estimate heatsink requirement
Hi Kamal.
Mine is a naked setup so no pix of a finished amp as of yet from me. But you can use a 300mm x 100mm heatsinks with 30mm fin depth for one channel. You can contact the following website for heatsinks with any dimensions for a custom design: Akash Heatsinks

Humm... I have 204 X 100 mm heatsinks with 42 mm fins

Can this work for single channel?
Yes as long as the fins are outside the chassis and continuous power output is ~100-150w. It may not be enough if your plan is to push the amp hard into 4ohm.
Hi shaan,
Sent you a PM reply to your email. Ship to Canada address. Do not ship to Mexico address.
Thanks,
Myles

Hi Myles.
I did read the PM but was busy with the small boards that just arrived so couldn't reply. I will cancel previous invoice and send fresh one shortly.
Thanks.

Hi shaan,
I do not think you need a new invoice, you just have to ship to Canada and not to Mexico.
Or am I not thinking correctly.
Cheers

Transistor matching
Also how bad it would be if we don't use matched transistors. If I buy in 100's, not sure what will I do for with the rest of the transistors 🙂
Hi Shaan, I see the BOM values for transistors are in B classification, to what range are we expecting HFE's to be and how close do they need to be matched. Is it possible to provide matched Q1/Q2 and Q9/Q10 as well?
