Pavel Dudek's (Upupa Epops) LM4780 amp

Pavel, I did send my reply several times but I know it did not get through to you. I will posts the main parts of my reply here :-

1) I am not qualified to comment on the technical aspects of the design, but the quality and look of it are excellent and to a very high quality.

2) The English is very good and I believe most people will understand it. Although very good there are some minor places where the English could be made a bit more "English" ;-)

3) If you can send me the main document in a format that I can edit, I am happy to make some minor amendments, which I believe will help English speakers.

4) Even completely unchanged, the work is excellent and of the highest quality. You should be very proud of it.

Best wishes
Tim

As you know I have got a pcb from Pavel and I have been trying to push Pavel into selling this world wide. I think the DIY world deserves this very good design and pcb. Pavel himself hasn't said much so I don't know what his plans are. Over 10000 downloads of his schematics must point to some interest. Let's say 1-2% are interested = 100-200 pcb's!

I would certainly buy at least a couple, they look fantastic and from what I have seen his work on this project is of the highest professional quality.

I haven't heard from pavel since I offered to assist with his documentation, I have seen a few posts from him but nothing here.

When I emailed pavel in the past he has not received my mails and I have a suspicion that at some point, his email account may has been hacked.

I apologize, guys, but all is little bit different. If I can sell to you PCBs, I must have here trade licence ( same as in other country ). I havn't it, but after cca fourteen days I will. But I still hesitate, if it will have sense. This PCB is 2.5 times larger than Brian's one and because production cost is approximately the same, it must cost cca 50 bucks ( plus shipping ) and by this price it will be " on border " of rentability. Ofcourse, by this price I guarantee claimed parametres and any problem with hum etc., but people can only see lower price of others kits, although there this problems can be ( as we see on many questions here). So I'm asking this forum : Is this price acceptable for you ? :xeye:

I think it's way too much. Max 5 dollars!

Seriously you can do a group deal thing with reasonable profit (which I think is totally OK) and if you collect money in advance you don't have to risk anything... or you can order a small quantity and charge whatever you want. 50 dollars aren't too much for those who want a really good pcb, debugged and all.

Check my group buy directions below and see if you feel for it.

PS: Glad that you checked in so we know it's alright with you. DS.
