Yes, indeed.

NP has more or less explained here how SE bias is added, although this too was many years ago. The math for calculating the circuit values is fully explained in the 'Leaving Class A' article.

Sometimes I think that DIYAudio should rent storage space to the CIA for it's deepest secrets. They would be perfectly safe.

Read the brochure (No Skin, just Audio porn). I'm a little perplexed about the Push-Pull/Single ended Bias Bis??? I've heard(read) talk about it. I've seen a patent with such an idea I beleive but, never seen it in practice, I don't think? Of coarse because it might be in a current product I might not get any response? But then, is the patent expeired for that too? 😀
flg. Please provide any info on this patent. Thank you.

Well, everyone always provides everything I want as soon as I ask 😉
Start here US Patent Full-Text Database Boolean Search It really helps if you know the number??? or Nelson A. Pass (Not sure about the A).
search this forum also. There is a duetchlander who documents gobs of stuff like Pass stuff...
Maybe when I get home I have more numbers and such...
Thanks flg. A patent number, or assignee or inventor will be adequate. The DIYer whose user name begins with tief..maybe the person.

speakin' of XS-es ...... well - that's example of evolution from prototype to finished product :

(btw. Turd wasn't , but became a Turd , Blau or not )

regarding FE pic - what a specimen for Babelfishing ; knowing my Babelfishing techniques , that case would be small

Mr. Pass has an enriching style of writing which I find easy to read and understand. The imposing physical stature of the Xs amps and their performance are impressive. An expired Pass patent attendant to the Xs amps technology was related to the suppression of standing waves in a cubic music room. Whether one spends $650 on a run of the mill amp or $65,000 on an Xs amp, a music room void of these pesky standing waves may be a must. Is the suppression of standing waves an important issue to DIYers? Is there an interest in such an DIY app?

Of course, but dedicated listening rooms may not be prevelant in diy circles, as many are building to have smething they could not otherwise afford.

I like the aluminum plates. Is this best reserved for amps passing over certain level of current?
