I wouldn't want to overheat one sitting atop the electricals!
No need for that, just add it to the bias circuit as a minor player, but major visuals. 🙂
Dang your hide! I had the whole thing laid out -was about to start building- and now this...
😉😀😛
Do it right and you'll have the coolest looking amp ever! Please post a pic.
Oh folks, I should sleep now. The nightshift was calm and pleasing and I was looking forward to fall gently into the soft and warm plumes. But did I go to bed? No, I once again checked my mailbox...
One and a half hour later I am as fresh as a daisy! 🙂
Thank you, Nelson!!! It's not a trick - it's a DeLite! 😀

This is the first step toward Enlightenment! 🙂
(second step, open your mind, err..your speakers..Open that Baffle...🙂
as always: :Thanks!

Looking at fig 10 – how is the idle current measured? R4 and P1 combine to an unknown resistance. Should R4 and P1 be in series from the drain?
What power main switch should be taken into the closer choice?
In generall I would prefer a heavy rotary switch and not a pushbutton switch because there are high values of inrush current.
Here a small overview:

Mr. Variac has commented that perhaps this deserves a
response.
The answer is no. That title is reserved for a future device,
currently in process at the Magrathean Semiconductor Works.
not kidding.

Np NP...I'll keep an eye and an ear open for it then.
Are you sure this won't cause a financial dark age?

No.....😱
Built by Pass Labs specifications? Finally the semiconductor industry is listening to the voice of audiophiles...or it just came as a by-product of some other hi-tech device (originally built for the "Avatar")...Or they got that Unobtanium, desperately needed for the manufacture of the better transistor? 🙂
