Long journey indeed!...
Now... Maybe next year I can build some linkwitz audio speakers... Or a pair of aleph mono blocks... Or a b22 headphone amp.... Or a balanced aes/ebu Dac.
Oh, the choices.
And the DIY bug has firmly embedded itself. 😎
Have just get my Aleph 1.7 diy KK board to play
make some changes ...use Maida 21 century regulater, instead off the normal powersupply..very pleased by the sound and very precise regulation...60vdc perfekt
also changes all 10uf wima caps....44uf panasonic fc caps for output...and elna 47uf silmic2 for input
the sound is in my opinion a good deal better than the normal diy setup
more clear ,,better dynamic,, easy to hear small things in the music
next step is to make my dynamax balanced volume ready..
Hope you can use some off this to inspiration

here is my P1.7. not yet finnished. but in working order. (have been for 4 years)😀
this board made is kk pcb ?
Camaro
Audiosans board looks like mine ..so it must be KK board..so is the powersupply-
a fine board,,but i was not so happy with the powersupply (i use a Maida regulator)

Audiosan
that was a shame...but i hope i will hear from kk---i bought my kit used...but no komponent list

I have schematic,,print,,Pass service manual,,,need only paper that tells the value off the component ...the number of component in Pass service manual. is not the same as in kk-
feks....Resistor 1,, is not Resistor 1 in Pass diagram
feks....Resistor 1,, is not Resistor 1 in Pass diagram
I hate crosswords (smile)
it is more to make it easy for me to find component on the print...
lets take Resistor 1...marked on the print..i have no idea off the value ---on the schematic is only a value...not a number---

Hello,
I am beginner in Hifi-DIY and have also a question regarding the Pass Aleph P 1.7.
I have already asked it but in the "Pass Aleph P" (not P 1.7, so in the wrong thread).
It is about what the Pass Aleph P 1.7 distungishes from the Alep P 1.0:
At the Aleph P 1.7 the current sources at the bottom and at the top are connected.
I guess the current source at the bottom is biased synchronal with the voltage swing
(measured at the top current source) that way.
I think it reduces distortion?
Is that right?

Thank you very much 🙂
But I am not sure if we talk about the same thing/connection. You said upper ones are set for 30 mA,
the lower for 20 mA and that the difference are shunted to ground. I mean the connection via
the 10k Ohms resistors at the very left R46 and very right R61 on the schematic
between the current sources.

those are just (meaning - nothing more and nothing less than) common resistors for upper and lower CCS , distributing auxiliary current , necessary for CCS operation
