I have now tested the shuntregs on both of my boards, and it works as a charm, light in all leds, and +/- 18,05v on outputs
It is running a little hot for my taste though, with a supply of +/- 31,5v from a simple prereg. Hope it will help to drop 2-3v in the final c-r-c setup.🙂

Regarding to my ignorance,It is running a little hot for my taste though
ive ordered some slightly bigger coolingprofiles than mentioned in the BoM. 😎
For those in doubt about the PSU,
here is the announcement for a PreReg designed by the one and only 😀

This GB is intended to deliver at last around christmas, so after the design is finished, it should happen very quick.
Stay tuned.

I have now connected the amp part of the boards, and both inputs are easily adjusted to 0v +/- 0,5mv with 10ko and absolute 0 with the 100ohm that is supposed to be there finally; but both outputs are running havoc, constantly shifting value with everything in between +/-50mv. Is this normal, or should something be done about it? And in that case what?🙂
Yes and with 10ko on the input as describedDo you talk about the DC offset at the output ?
The input is like a certain bodypart on a weddingnight and the output is like a nest of disturbed ants.😀
I had initially 40mV output offset. That stabilizes after some hours. I think it is the leakage of the electrolytics. They have to "form" and then the leakage goes away.
If there is still too much offset after some hours you can read in Heseners building guide how to give the servo more "authority". There is also a way to trim the initial offset of the buffer. Measure before and after the buffer if there is any big difference.

I have measured before and after the buffer, and the result is the same, so i measured with the dmm set to ac, and still the same erratic behaviour, so i think i have some oscillation😱
I havent installed the smd capacitors yet, so i hope that will solve the problem.

The reading on the output is jumping arround like someone who has been sitting in an ants nest😀 But the input and powersupply readings are steady like a brick wall.
So i think i have to order proper sized smd Cs again.
The first ones are supersuper mikromini.
About one and a half square mm...
Too tiny for an old man like me.

It will be my absolute first smd experience. I normally dont use components that i cant see either😀
I am more worried about my solderiron, it is an old Weller tcp magnestat, and i dont know if i can get the tips small enough😕
Lucky me has still to wait for some parts.
So everything in your way will benfit my effort.
But im getting older by the hour....
