Hi Empee,
According to the MH audio calculator the port is too long even with 85% area Sd ports. Aj- Horn agrees 🙁
I am not an Onken expert! Just trying to understand this enclosure type and looking for a QB5 alignment to make the best of my woofer of choice the Fane 12-200. Momentarily stuck in end correction K land.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
EV18B (very low mass for 18) are nice in Karlson as 2-way - also would work in a cabinet like my old 18s with RJ path venting. Onken are "just" reflex 😀

RCA-Fan's slant - 80 liter for 15 - port board extends to about 1.5" from back wall - I like the symmetry of Onken and Ultraflex. RJ are cool as the vent sums right at the cone.

Anyone knows the Mms of the old Electro Voice EVM18B woofer?
Ok, just found it here: http://petoindominique.fr/php/mysql_listehp3.php?marque=ELECTROVOICE very interesting site.
82g for an 18" woofer is pretty good value, 33Hz also not bad...I think about buying a pair of EV S1803 3way speaker and ask myself what kind of bass should I expect. Any opinions on these 18" woofers??

Note that it's calculated from published specs found here, which includes some bass alignments: http://www.electrovoice.com/downloadfile.php?i=971120

Looks good in an Onken alignment and two look really good if a ~678 L cab is acceptable and cheap enough to offset the high material cost and still be a good bang/buck build.
