Hi, could someone confirm a few things for me?

1: The pre-amp should be able to drive a pair of headphones if they are connected to the output, right?

2: The grounding and wiring when pot at input and in unbalanced mode:
RCAground and pot-ground are to be connected to the inputground on the board and also to the (in-). Signal goes to the (in+)

3: On the output. (out+) is the signal and (out-) and out-ground wired to the groundlug of the RCA.

This is what I have done now atleast.

Hi KMJ,

Yes, I believe you are right. I managed to drive some passive pc speakers with the aleph p. I also connected the pot as you have described. However, I have used a small fortune on transistors. They have had a tendency to blow due to my oversized fingers...

Have you tested the preamp yet?

Best regards,
Folke

i've only tested it with headphones and the soundlevel isn't that impressive, quite low accually. I also am getting some buzzing but that's the pot. I will however test the pre in a day or two, as soon as I can borrow a poweramp...

another try
