OLD THREAD Hi-end phono preamplifier by Andrea Ciuffoli

Since there is an e-commerce site in Quanghao's signature, and his board GBs have become a steady venture, there is no logic of group buy essence anymore. There is a vendor forum area being offered by DIYA that the interested parties can ask for. Therefore Quanghao's GB threads are closing. Communicate directly for any outstanding commitments. :cop:

Edit: Quanghao asked and got a Vendor forum of his own, old threads moved here.

My PCBs arrived last week.

I have a small question the RIAA capacitors on your schematic and on the Andrea's site are not the same value. I know that there are different ways to make RIAA but which one is better?

Regards,
Pred

I have calculated 2 set of values for the RIAA.
The first was to work at lower impedance to get vey low noise but this mean higher capacitors value so only MKP can be used.
The new set of value allow have higher impedance and allow to use Jensen paper oil and silver mica capacitors.
At this time I don't have tested the new values.
Quanghao have build both the versions and he prefer the new as sound.
