dontdiewondering, I'm happy also for you to pick up and send my kit. I didn't order a case or machined panels.
I had one plug pack in my kit as well, but I don't know if they've been received by BF yet...
I also said I'd take 2 more batteries than I initially ordered, but I'm not sure the status of those either.

BlueFusion, am I still able to have 2 extra batteries? How should I pay for these?

Hi Guys

The Sunday update:

1. Thanks for PM's. I have been on my iPhone the last week and have missed them so I appologise for not replying. To hochopeper, qusp, fordgtlover, neob, coolhead and nikon1975 thanks for the messages and I will reply with what doesn't get covered with this message.
2. The following people have indicated they want me to pick up their kits with everything that's available (ie all components plus enclosure minus panels). Name and number of kits below:
Neob (2)
Safetydank (2)
Ancient Wisdom (2)
Richardpp (?)
Squeak (3)
Sashaw (1)
Musical (2)
Schlagzeuger (2)
Ianrt (2)
Qusp (1)
Hochopeper (1)
Nikon1975 (1)
Coolhead (2)
Me! (2)
That's a total of 23 plus richardpp's kits. I'm working off of the spreadsheet version off of BF's signature.
3. Waiting to hear back from BF via text, post or PM that's it's kosher to pick up the kits on Tuesday afternoon/evening.
4. To keep everything above board and accountable I will write a receipt for all the components I pick up (not individually but as kits plus extras).

Where to from here:
Keep the list updated for anyone else who wants to be added with a cut off time of tomorrow as indicated in the earlier post.
Hear back from BF.
Once I get everything from BF I will check the kits. Given that I've got 23+ to go through, it's not goIng to happen in a night so I will post them out in lots as soon as they are checked.
I will send PM's when the kits are posted.
For the international guys once I get the kit and weight I'll be able to tell you how much postage costs.

Questions, queries, whinges, bitches and or gripes?

Cheers

Thanks ddw (hope you don't mind the acronymisation of your forum name!)

I've tried to keep on top of things in the thread reasonably. Only have two corrections that are actually quite understandable.

1) I have agreed by PM with bluefusion that I would pay him for 1 extra basic kit (pcb, batts, std kit, enclosure/panel) to help out with the extras when he was ready to ship. Pending his confirmation that all is kosher I suppose that time is now. If bluefusion advises that he is ok with the handover, I'll make a paypal payment for this asap to his nominated account.

2) I believe qusp's order is already partially fulfilled, my understanding from pm/posts from him is that he was in for pcb only and that they have been sent/received already. All that was left from his order was 4 of the spare batteries. qusp/bluefusion will need to confirm this one.

Questions, queries, whinges, bitches and or gripes?

I have one main concern, bluefusion has done handovers in the past when one of his gb's have gone bad. The situation in that case was more complex, the handover involved shipping internationally. However it was found that many of the kits were then incomplete. Mainly what I'm saying is that for the handover we'll need to be careful to ensure this doesn't happen again.

The point I'm making is that until we collect kits from bluefusion as most of us are Australian residents so we each have legal options available (debt collection/small claims tribunal etc). These options will become considerably more complicated after the items get split up. For the relatively small amounts involved from each individual these actions seem drastic, for the costs involved as a whole they are imo justifiable. Especially when considering that the combined replacement cost of front panels and (22) plugpacks is easily nudging $2000.

To this end I would like bluefusion, if he agrees to the handover, to nominate a value for each of the front panels such that this then becomes the remaining portion owed to each of those whose parts are collected by dontdiewondering. My suggestion is that this value is the $12 (I am guessing this is for machining) in his excel sheet plus $4.60 as per e14 cost for replacement panel. Does it seem reasonable that the cost allocated to front panel is $16.60?

This is far cheaper than the replacement cost, but I believe is in line with the legal requirements outlined - Debt recovery - small claims procedure (SA)

This may seem pretty drastic but it needs to be said so that everyone is aware and our collective rights are sufficiently covered.

Thanks for the message and update. I'm trying to keep everything at the lowest level possible wrt people getting what they have paid for, helping BF out to get the kits deliveted and staying away from small claims for as long as possible. I am confident that we will get everything we have paid for all be in a time frame outside of what we expected from the start of the group buy.

Here's to having a cold beer listening to a newly built amp before Christmas!

I agree entirely with hochopeper. We need to assign an agreed cash value to the remaining parts.

Noting that the total GB value was $4529, I think some financial accountability seems perfectly reasonable.

$16.60 seems reasonable for each panel. The spread sheet indicated 50 front panels on order. That's a total of $830 for panels.

Additionally, we have the plug packs, which as best as I can figure BF charged $17.50 each. The spreadsheet indicates 32 plug packs were requested. That's a total of $560.

If ddw is able to collect all of the parts and the post bags, then BF still owes cash or goods to the total of $1,390.

There appears to be $175 in international postage that has not yet be included.

That brings the total to $1,565 owing to this GB by BF.

Does that all sound reasonable?

To be fair to bluefusion some portion of that has been refunded already at peoples request, though this isn't exactly clear from the information that he has shared. I believe FREDtheDOG, Rapide23 and willmax have all received refunds for their orders, perhaps there are others also.

Some of the frontpanels are also spares, so not owed to anyone but bluefusion until he confirms who has taken what spares.

Thank you dontdiewondering, for what you will do.

I also questioned about the issue of money for wallwart and shipping costs that I have paid into BF account.
The amount is quite valuable for me. Is he going to pay dontdiewondering in the form of money or what?

please disregard or skim some here as it seems to been covered rather well by hochopeper, DDW and FordGT while i was slowly putting this together and it appears inline with our talks. thanks for the list of interest, its a good proactive step to get the ball moving everyone; no worries i had wondered what happened to you DDW.

i know as has been said, this all sounds quite harsh until you look at the big picture, but in the end if this is handled well by both parties, the law (other than being behind us) does not have to get involved, it will i assume be handled as a civil matter? as long as a satisfactory resolution/handover etc is able to be reached. we would be silly to do it any other way with the monies involved and we owe it to our brothers overseas who dont have the powers allotted to us as Aussie citizens.

I see you have me down for a kit; to confirm what hochopeper has said, i dont actually have a kit as i backed out so thats probably an old list before he just stopped updating it.....(but funnily enough i could have paid for my kit a few days to a week after the orders were meant to be made...because they hadnt been made; as noted in hochopeper's list of events...)

i said if didnt confirm before the cutoff to leave it out sorry i probably should have made more of that in the thread, but i did mention it.

i know i've been persistently acerbic the last few weeks in this thread, maybe now, hopefully i get a pass on some of that...

In the end i just had the pcbs which i received already, but i did have 4 batteries i ordered (2 sets) of the extras. I was never able to get an answer for how to pay and what for shipping, or if there were any still left, though there was supposed to be at the time I also needed to know if the paypal account sorted, because i'm afraid at this stage i'd prefer not using bank transfer to BF..... so unless this is all in hand i'd rather not send that to BF, maybe a representative.

i dont need the panels as i bought the larger blue case from the Jokener's GB and doing panel work elsewhere.

so whats everyone else doing? i think its probably best if we are able to draw a line under where things are at, so everyone is on the same page (quite literally on the same page), we have a list of those being picked up, there should also be a list of those agreeing they are happy to leave with BF to finish. This should happen i think before somewhat of a new arrangement if drawn up; know what i mean? because any issues recovering the rest including internationals could become problematic when its partially been broken up. (told you to skip, guys read my mind)

so the list can be compiled here, or by pm if youde prefer.

see told you to skim HA

This is getting really messy. I really hope someone can take over this GB, but I think there are too many uncertainty like: what is available, what missing, what is odered but not yet arrive, how much fund left.... There are buyers from oversea like me, the shipment charge is different...
The solution is still very much depends on corporation of BF, cause only he can answer to all these. But he hasn't reply since 2 days ago. What ever we proposed he might not agree on or simply ignore. Can we set a deadline on these? How about a week from now? After that I think local law authority need be involved. I don't see how oversea buyers can get from this but for me there is the only choice left rather than waiting like a dumb bell.
