To be fair to bluefusion some portion of that has been refunded already at peoples request, though this isn't exactly clear from the information that he has shared. I believe FREDtheDOG, Rapide23 and willmax have all received refunds for their orders, perhaps there are others also.
Some of the frontpanels are also spares, so not owed to anyone but bluefusion until he confirms who has taken what spares.
I'm not trying to be unfair, but given the lack of clarity from BF, much of this is guess work. I still agree with your original point, that we need to establish a (reasonably) agreed value of the outstanding components assuming ddw is able to collect what we believe BF already has. If we have no idea of the value, pursuing this through formal channels - if it comes to that - will be almost impossible.
I am hoping that everything gets sorted without additional external intervention, but like that story with the horse and the gate, it's worth thinking about the next steps.
So as a set of revised figures by excluding the people who we know or believe have taken refunds, the figures become:
44 Front Panels at $16.60 each = $730.40
32 wallwarts at $17.50 each = $490.00
Total = $1,220.40
International Shipping charges = $175.00
That brings the total to $1,395.40 owing to this GB by BF.
------------------------------------------------------
I took a refund and then bought some parts for which I still owe $85.73.

Completely agree.
I believe there is 28 wallwarts remaining after refunds, not 32. You've done the sums, but missed updating the number in your post.

I wasn't suggesting that you were trying to be unfair, as you have said, much is worked out by inference. Going through official channels to resolve this would require establishing the amount owed to each individual who is involved. There is no provision for acting on someone's behalf without their consent, which would, hopefully, make establishing the amount owed to each person a simpler exercise.
As qusp has mentioned, there may be some value in those who would prefer ddw didn't collect their parts to explicitly state that.
For now we await bluefusion's response. Hopefully from that the way forward will become clear(er).

That was the plan with today's cut off. When I get home tonight on a computer instead of a phone I'll send another summary based on what I know - who wants me to pick up and post whats available and who is prepared to wait. Once the lists are finalised we can then fill in who ordered/paid for what so when I pick it up it will just be the matter of BF putting it aside and I'll tick it off.
International postage will hopefully be a matter of being given cash or prepaid bags.
Hopefully we're getting closer!

I've just got a text from BF and he is going to call tonight. I have had another three people say they want me to pick up and post out their kits. I don't think there will be must left with BF other than front panels.
Hi Guys
. . . That's a total of 23 plus richardpp's kits. I'm working off of the spreadsheet version off of BF's signature. . .
Cheers
Having asked BF to pm me weeks ago if he had any spare kits, he never replied. So i haven't actually ordered anything from BF, nor paid him any money. I should not be on his list and have since ordered from the Jokener.
No worries, I wasn't sure if you were one of the buyers that's not on the spreadsheet. I was making the connection given your offer of assistance once I get the kits, sorry for the misunderstanding.
Things are starting to look good, hopefully everything goes smoothly from here on out.
Thanks for stepping in DDW, you have no idea how much I appreciate what you are doing!

Monday's update:
Waiting to hear from BF, but this is what I would like to occur;
For the people listed below I will pick up the components, plug packs, enclosure minus the front panel and the express post bags.
Neob (2 parts kits, 2 batteries, 2 enclosures, 2 plug packs, leaving 2 front panels)
Safetydank (2 parts kits, 4 batteries, 2 enclosures, 2 plug packs, leaving 2 front panels)
Ancient Wisdom (2 parts kits, 4 batteries, 2 enclosures, 2 plug packs, 2 sets of extra resistors, leaving 2 front panels)
Sqveak (3 parts kits, 3 enclosures, leaving 3 front panels)
Sashaw (1 parts kit, 2 batteries, 1 enclosure, leaving 1 front panels)
Musical (2 parts kits, 2 enclosures, 2 sets of extra resistors, leaving 2 front panels)
Schlagzeuger (2 parts kits, 2 batteries, 1 plug packs)
Ianrt (2 parts kits, 4 batteries, 2 enclosures, leaving 2 front panels)
Hochopeper (1 parts kits, 2 batteries, 1 enclosures, 1 plug packs, 1 set of extra resistors, leaving 1 front panel)
Nikon1975 (1 parts kits, 2 batteries, 1 enclosure, leaving 1 front panel)
Coolhead (2 parts kits, 6 batteries, 2 enclosures, leaving 2 front panels)
Me! (2 parts kits, 4 batteries, 2 enclosures, 2 sets of extra resistors, leaving 2 front panels)
Bobkojek (1 parts kit, 2 batteries, 1 enclosure, 1 plug packs, leaving 1 front panel) + 1 additional PCB
Vince3141 (1 parts kits, 2 batteries)
Polak (2 parts kits, 4 batteries, 2 enclosures, 2 plug packs, 2 sets of extra resistors, leaving 2 front panels)
Zeffa (2 parts kits, 4 batteries, 2 enclosures, 2 plug packs, 1 set of extra resistors, leaving 2 front panels)
MILSPEC (1 parts kit, 2 batteries, 1 enclosure, 1 plug packs, 1 set of extra resistors, leaving 1 front panel)
*** If anyone has ordered additional PCB's please let me know how many I should be picking up in total.
I will drop off prepaid envelopes for BF to put the front panel(s) in once they are back from the machinist (they should fit into a standard envelope and if they go between two pieces of cardboard should post ok and cost about $1 to post, my shout for the postage).
I haven't been paying any attention about the plug packs, but does BF have them yet? If he doesn't, I will still pick up everything I can and sort out payment for the extra postage once you get your stuff - I will leave the post bags that BF has already allocated to you for the plug pack and front panel. Once you get what you have paid for send me a message on the forum that you have it and I will PM you my bank details, that way you are not left exposed or left wondering if I have done a runner with your stuff.
The following people have not responded so I will not be picking their orders and will leave it to BF to post:
Munga
Bircoe
Insideout
beejones
Aussieampbloke
Stoiky
EFHeath
Coolguy
Little fish
NST
Mistertaz
Manzanita Cross
I'm pretty sure there will be amendments to the list above so please let me know what I have to change on the forum and not by Private Message, for accountability I would like everything on public record. Once I speak to BF and work out the time and place to get everything I will post a message and then let you know how long it should take to get through checking everything and getting it in the post.

International buyers I will ask BF for the cash you have paid him so I can get your stuff in the post.
Great stuff, ddw.
As for the plug pack, BF realised last week that they were back ordered at RS. So, the answer to your question is that BF does not have the plug packs.

i think you should send a PM to the group that havent responded before moving on it (you can send group emails by separating the usernames with a (; ) a semicolon and a space). also, can i sort you out with some funds to pick up the 4 extra batteries for me DDW?
realised last week......

No worries I'll pay cash to BF for four batteries when I pick up the rest of it and sort out the money later.
I'll wait a day or so, just to make sure what I have written is correct, and to see if there are any stragglers. I will also send a PM of that post to the others.
Thanks for keeping an eye on things even though you're only after some batteries!

1) I have agreed by PM with bluefusion that I would pay him for 1 extra basic kit (pcb, batts, std kit, enclosure/panel) to help out with the extras when he was ready to ship. Pending his confirmation that all is kosher I suppose that time is now. If bluefusion advises that he is ok with the handover, I'll make a paypal payment for this asap to his nominated account.
DDW, if bluefusion is agreeable to the proposal I'd still like the extras stated here, he really needs to confirm what spares he has for each person. Happy to pay BF direct or you in advance whichever is easiest.
Very disappointing that he has not contacted you yet I must say.
Thank you very much for your effort in helping us all out! Going of snippets of info here and there and picking up at the end is some challenge for sure!! I strongly disagree that you should be out of pocket for any of these things though. Even petrol and your time driving there and back won't be insignificant since it seems it could be a few hours of driving round trip for you.
In terms of postage for the panels I agree cardboard and envelope should give good protection. The international panel GB mention in post #471 in that thread that they are going to also wrap the panels in anti-tarnish tissue paper, I would happily give funds for extra packaging materials as a just in case measure.
dontdiewondering I would be very grateful if you could pick up my bits and pieces and post them to me if at all possible.
Happy to grab another one once I hear from either BF or yourself that payment is sorted.
Call it Christmas Spirit or a relaxed outlook on life, its only money and I'm happy to throw in a little extra to get the ball rolling and get this to a conclusion.

Sounds good, thanks. Let me know if you need some extra cash to make this happen, or extra cash for a beer to recover from making this happen.
dontdiewondering - I would also be grateful if you could pickup/post my kit if at all possible! My apologies for a last minute participation, I had basically written off my cash and had stopped checking the forum - the kit was intended as a Christmas present which I had long ago realized wasn't going to eventuate in time. Fordgtlover and Hochopeperv (and many others!) - thank you for you persistence and number crunching! It's good to see that BF will be held to account.
