Doc Watson: Southbound

This is bluegrass. Recorded in the mid to late 60's. Wonderful baritone voice, really rich with harmonics, and great acoustic guitar playing.

I saw Doc last spring, and I was amazed that the guitar sounds just the same in person as it does on records recorded 35 years ago. I can't believe that it's the same instrument, so it must have to do with the way he plays it.

You like folk music? Highly recommended!

Silke Bischoff was the girl who got taken hostage at the "Gladbecker Geiseldrama" back at the end of the eighties, she got shot by Dachowski during the special forces very dumb attempt at rescuing her...

Dark music for a dark soul...
