Now playing
One of these nights
Eagles
--------------------
Track 7 : Nightingales "Dawn on ST John's Day"
Real live digital recording of nightingales at dawn in summer.
One of these nights is a great album.
"Swear I gonna find you - One of these night"
"You can't hide your lyin' Eyes"

Nightingales! I have a hifi-test record
with a real Thunder&Lightninig with heavy Rain Sounds. Great!

An artist I think deserve some more attention is Graham Parker
Graham Parker (&The Rumour)

I have 3 VINYLS with him:
Heat Treatment
Stick to Me
The Mona Lisa's Sister
--------------------------------------------------------------
On the last "Mona Lisa" my favourite song is:

SUCCESS

Esus4 E (strummed, then) Intro:
Esus4 E B C#m7
Oooh ooooh Oooh ooooh ooh ooooh (twice)
followed by notes: e eb c# b e e f# g#

The dreams and hopes of men are powered by addiction
And who am I to say that this is an affliction
When everybody gets suckered in and lives their lives like fiction
Writing their own stories of success

They say they want you for your colourful evocation
The way you turn a cliche into a sensation
But all they ever wanted was that same vibration
The one that shimmers round success

CHORUS
Success success success success
Success success success success
All you ever need... success

You can't be happy while some one else has a fistful
They glow from TV screens healthy strong and fiscal
And everybody slaps their back while you're alone with a wristful
Jerking to the rhythm of success

CHORUS
Success success success success
Success success success success
All you ever need... success

Assyrian Music

Linda George
The Golden Collection

An interesting variation.
I bought this album from the States after hearing samples online:

http://www.omtaatoreta.com/music/linda/linda.htm

The music contains non-western scales, and is refreshing.

Do not confuse the Assyrians with the Syrians.
Their interesting cultural history is linked from the posted URL.

Jan Garbarek, saxophone

I knew he was norwegian.
now i will remember - Saxophone.

My brain has always confused him
with a claviature player - also a xxxxrek

It is the member of The Doors:
Ray Manzarek - he played the claviature
in that legendary Pop-band ...

Wintertime Love

Wintertime winds blow cold the season
Fallen in love, I'm hopin' to be
Wind is so cold, is that the reason?
Keeping you warm, your hands touching me

Come with me dance, my dear
Winter's so cold this year
You are so warm
My wintertime love to be

Winter time winds blue and freezin'
Comin' from northern storms in the sea
Love has been lost, is that the reason?
Trying desperately to be free

Come with me dance, my dear
Winter's so cold this year
And you are so warm
My wintertime love to be

;) The Doors - Discography - Waiting For The Sun ;)

"Waiting for the Sun" is my favourite album by The Doors
I bought the album on VINYL 1968. Have CD also now.

Waiting for the Sun & Wintertime Love
could be just right for time of the year ...

This evening I was chillin with Ralph Towner- Blue Sun (ECM LP), a most amazing record considering he plays all the instruments, and it sounds more like a live album than a studio concoction.

Now playing, Carmina Burana on period instruments (Telefunken LP).
